01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Walk through the residential streets of Higashi-Fushimi and take a window seat: beyond the glass, Seibu Line trains pass at an easy pace. Linto Coffee extends further back than its frontage suggests, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere that feels part of everyday neighbourhood life.

Hand-dripped coffee is a highlight, with beans available to choose to suit your preference. For a smooth, milky drink, there is a rich café latte with a clean finish; decaffeinated coffee is another option when you want to limit your caffeine. For a classic café-style cold treat, settle in with a coffee or latte float topped with ice cream.

The sweets and baked goods are another reason to pause here. Carrot cake and roll cake have a gentle sweetness, while pies are warmed before serving to bring out their aroma. Muffins paired with fruit are also on offer, making easy companions to the flavour and bitterness of coffee.

On Saturdays and Sundays, the café opens from 9:00, making it a handy stop during an early weekend stroll. Children can choose drinks such as kids’ milk and juice. On weekdays, light meals including salad plates and sandwiches are available, and takeaway is also an option, whether you are stopping alone for a break or dropping in casually.
